As long as it took me to load my latest pics on photobucket with a dial-up connection, I have to at least follow through with a Myspace blog. January and February were strange months indeed--lots of changes going on, but here are some of the highlights.

Liz's birthday at BB Kings:

Pathos show at 12th and Porter:

Saying goodbye to good friends (one of the aforementioned changes)...

and finally, one of the best concerts i've been to: Billy Joel

..

I decided not to load up the videos I shot of the concert for two reasons:
1. They probably wouldn't do the concert justice
2. um...that whole dial-up thing

I don't remember what made me think of this last night, but as I was going to sleep I started thinking about elementary school. Then I started to think of all the teachers I had in elementary school, and then it dawned on me: I can't for the life of me remember who taught me 2nd grade. On top of that, I don't seem to remember much about 2nd grade at all. I know this is of no consequence, but it irritated me that I couldn't remember. I do remember one thing from that year: my awful chili-bowl haircut. The only reason I remember that is because my own grandfather mistook me for some neighbor boy. Oh and the fact that everyone in my class got invited to a girl's birthday party except for me.

Ok, so it's starting to make a little more sense why i've blocked out 2nd grade.

a brief update

Hey everyone. I know it's been a long time since I updated so I figured I'd give you a brief update on a few things:

1. I started my Screenwriting class last night, and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to get to work on some ideas...as soon as I get some ideas.

2. I went home this past weekend to see one of my greatest friends get married. Congratulations Stephanie and Brian!!!!

3. Kristen just bought a house, so we are in the process of moving out of our apartment. I'm going to pick out paint colors for my room. I can't tell you how exciting it is for me to pick a color for my room that won't be white. I'll post pictures once we move in.

4. I will most likely have a new job in January. I am studying to take the first actuary exam at the end of November. If I get a passing score, the company I interviewed with will be placing me with a company in Nashville by the beginning of the year. My prep course starts next week, and I plan on studying like crazy as my salary will be determined by how well I do. So wish me luck, k?

5. And for all those who know how obsessed I've become, yes my ballroom dancing is still going great! I love this stuff :)

I know that was a boring entry, but hey at least it was an entry, right?

Does anyone still read this thing?

Things that make me unhappy today:

1. They announced Heath Ledger will be playing the Joker in the next Batman. I mean, seriously???

2. It's a Tuesday which means, the realtors at my office are extra-needy and crazy today.

3. It's not yet 5:30 and time for me to go home.

4. The intense heat coupled with my non-existent car air-conditioning

5. Summer is almost over and I just now realized that summer doesn't really mean much when you work        9-5.

The Silver Lining:

1. One of the headlines regarding Heath's new role read: "I Wish I Knew How To Quit You, Batman"...that made me laugh

2. Most of the realtors have calmed down after this morning and will hopefully leave me alone for the rest of the day

3. Destination Unknown is tonight which means dancing at Ibiza...

4. I like to think of my hot car as a free, exfoliating, sauna experience every time I go to lunch in 100 degree heat.

5. Summer is almost over, yes, but in the fall I'll be taking a Monday night Screenwriting class at Watkins. Which makes me happy :)

That is all.
